Being sponsored by my company, I've been to the States as a Visiting Scholar with my family for six months two and a half years ago. We stayed in Florida which is called 'Sunshine State'. Although my English wasn't that great, I did and experienced a lot of things. The most memorable thing is the family trip to New York.

In childhood, having been thrown almost 100 paper airplanes for a day, I could see the one special plane, which flew much longer than others, going through elegant way.

Having experienced countless failures and successes, I could make my own homebrewing recipe, being able to make refreshing taste rice wine.

Having been learning from me how to work, my subordinates achieved success on his first project, being a speaker at the conference.

I think the biggest achievement in my life is not giving up on myself. There were times when I felt unsure about my future and my career, but I kept trying and moving forward.
Even when I was tired or scared, I continued studying and preparing for what I want. Because of that, I have become mentally stronger than before.

Not thinking that my life is extraordinary, I have lived a simple and steady life, which has been going smoothly so far. There were some small failures, but I finally entered the university that I had wanted. Marrying the man who I thought was my ideal partner and having two children, I also joined the company that I had dreamed of working for after applying seven times.
Always trying to achieve what I want, even if my goals are not very big, I feel grateful for my life now, wanting to stay this happy.

I don't think I can definitely tell I have gotten an noticeable achievement. But having been loyal to my life, I think having built great relationships with people around me could be a kind of thing in terms of my achievement.

Or I can tell going up to the Annapruna Basecamp in Himalayas last year could be one of my physical achievements. Climbing a mountain there, I felt like something like perseverance was being made somewhere in my heart.

And I also can tell some achievements will be coming in the future. Making plan about our life after the wedding with my wife, we saw there were going to be a lot of things we will be having to achieve. I think some of them must be really challenging but they will be also giving me happiest moments.

Building on that achievement, I am now ready to take on challenges for myself, expanding who I am beyond work and motherhood.
